I thought....from the datasheet...that if you set up the config for the internal clock using the config directive of  "_INTRC_IO" that it will by default allow those pins to be I/O
   
  Is there something else I need to do?  I've got TRISA all set to '1's, ADCON1 set for all of PORTA to be digital....there isnt anything else I see that needs to be done?  
   
  Bottom line...input signal doesnt appear to be getting inside....
