I got a TFT-screen from a friend of mine. It's in mind condition, except for the cruical part that it won't turn on. I suspected some flaw in the PSU, so I opened up and checked it out. Between the mains-input and the 5V/12V-output (some sort of filtering-part I presume) is an 8DIP IC branded "ICE 2A510" that has, literally, broken into two pieces. Perhaps from an overvoltage, I don't know. Anyway, I am going to replace this one to see if I can get the monitor alive again. But the problem is, I cannot find a supplier for it. Googling gives me two datasheets that are unavailable, and it's labeled "bandfilter 5.5GHz" or similiar. The biggest electronic parts supplier here in Sweden does not have this IC in stock, nor does Farnell (in UK). Can anyone check around with their local (or domestic) suppliers if this IC can be found? I'm pretty sure that "ICE 2A510" is the name of it, but if not - I can take a picture of it to remove any uncertainities. -- - Rikard - http://bos.hack.org/cv/ -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
