Hi, Before I go reinventing another wheel, has anyone modified the Microchip USB framework to read the device serial number string from the data EEPROM instead of program memory? It's just that I'm designing a USB device that will have some form of firmware upgrade capability, and I don't want to have to patch the program code with the serial number before I upload it - I'd rather just be able to program the code straight in to FLASH and have it pick up the S/N itself. Just curious.. I'm going to do it anyway, just I didn't want to repeat work that's already been done... Thanks, -- Phil. | (\_/) This is Bunny.
