We have several "real" environmental chambers here... but we have been known to just take stuff outside and test it on the picnic table when all the chambers are busy. We don't get much control over the temperature though. Right now (in northeast Ohio) we can test outside at about 90F. If we wanted warmer we could put the test article inside a car on a sunny day with the windows up. If we wait about 7 months we'll have the 0F or colder. The hot and cold is cheap (in fact it's free), you just have to wait for it to come around. This is not usually practical for most people, although it has worked out nicely for me a few times. -- Mark -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
