You should probably have the refrigerator returned to the store that sold it to you and then exchange it for a functioning model from other brand. I don't know what laws are like in your neck of the woods but I assume you have the right to return non-functioning or defective products. Where I am consumers can return products for any reason at all - even if they don't like how they look in their kitchen - for a full refund. Don't waste your time.
