It's happening to eBay, too.  I've done a search, found some things I was interested in, but not many, then done another search using words that were 
in the title of the items I just found, and found nothing!  I know they're there, I just saw them!  Repeating the first search finds them again.

Now Gargoyle has reasons for ranking things, but eBay's interests are served by finding as many relevant items as possible.  So why doesn't it?
