Here's some that floated to the top of google:
1. MAX7317
2. PCA9502 8-bit I/O expander with I2C-bus/SPI interface
3. MCP23017 (MICROCHIP)
4. roll your own with a PIC
5. search for more; they're out there

FYI, I searched on "spi expander"...
