Almost all my projects (7 in total) have 16F877A or a 16F628A running at 20
MHz using a resonator (obtained from glitchbuster, not an SMD version). I
never found problems that could be traced back to the resonator. There were
some unstabilities in one of the 16F628A configurations, but those were more
related to bad grounding of the resonator than the resonator itself.
