Hi all,

In my job I often use lead acid batteries (sealed, usually with glass
mat type construction) and often end up guessing when it comes to
issues like: how long will this battery last (in terms of service
life) when charged/discharged this way, how does the open circuit
voltage relate to state of charge, etc.

Has anyone found a good book which explains all of this in detail? I'm
not afraid of a little chemistry and math, either. Most of what I've
found doesn't address these type of deeper questions but assumes that
your application neatly fits some common category.
