No but very quickly found using Google - by Hitachi
 http://www.lcd-module.de/eng/pdf/zubehoer/hd66712u.pdf which lists it as 
upwardly compatible to the common HD44780. Looks like a nice superset from 
the front page description. Chip goes down to 2.7V operation, and has 2MHz 
bus interface at 5V.

I don't think any LCD manufacturer does, they expect you to look at the 
controller datasheet.
