Just a quick thanks to you all for the help and support. I went to Jaycar today with a brainwave and just built a 2.4v nicad battery pack and wired it in to the original connector on the card. Doesn't look pretty but works great now (so far so good). I Realised that I didn't NEED to match the batteries - just the battery functionality. Subject: Re: [OT] HP NetRaid 4m Card Battery dead I have a few of the Cybikos. The battery as I recall is a "F6" type. You may want to search on this. This store has some at $6 US/each. http://www.multimeterwarehouse.com/F6.htm. Aside from the Cybiko, these appear to be used in some multimeters and some MP3 players. Yes, $6 each is a lot considering what some pay for Cybikos, but I've just seen these once in a battery store in Dallas. They said they were used in some cameras... Good Luck, keep in touch.
