Josh, Don't want to twist your arm but the analyser comes with cable and probe tails with little square pin header sockets on em. Sure it doesn't log for ever, but shows enough raw data, interprets and shows SPI and RS232 from the data to see what's going on. It logs say 20-40 4-byte SPI packets at a time. Maybe more RS232. I could send a sample you could load into the program if you wished It's got lots of trigger options and the support is good. For logging RS232 I use Look RS232 program on a PC. That will record Mb's of data and has many viewing options. eg: hex, decimal, character, timestamp I log real time data from a 18F at 115200 in 8-byte packets (pad out to 8) every 1ms. Then it can be copied to Excel for graphical cogitation.
