Thanks for that - Figured Jaycar or Dicksmith as a last resort for soldertag
std nicads. Its finding the rectangular cells that seem to be the issue.
Batterymaster looks interesting - so I've fired off an email to them.

You could try Dick Smith but a better bet would be Battery Masta
who specialise in replacing
rechargable batteries.
South Island components (www.sicom.co.nz) might also be a possibility.
