Hi all, I was recently debugging a problem and realized that if I had a logic analyzer I could have moved a bit quicker. As such I'm now looking to get one! My requirements are: 1. Not too expensive (Around $300 would be ideal but I realize I might have to go higher) 2. Probes and clips included (or available for a reasonable charge) 3. Software must support decoding of RS232 and potentially I2C and SPI I've been looking at 3 main companies so far. The USBee (http://www.usbee.com) offerings seem pretty expensive at the moment. I'd have to spend at least $745 to get something that decoded RS232. The Ant series seem interesting (http://www.rockylogic.com/) but I can't seem to find a way to do RS232 interpretation. Am I just missing something there? Finally I've been looking at the Intronix Logicport (http://www.pctestinstruments.com/) which seems to do what I need but is a bit of overkill as I don't really need 34 channels of input. I would have to buy clips separately, but as I don't need 34 channels at the moment I wouldn't have to buy that many clips right away. So...have I missed any interesting options? Anyone want to sell an Agilent mixed signal scope/analyzer for much less than it's worth? Thanks!
