Well, I'm being provided with the 'opportunity' to relocate to Davis,
CA at the main Rabbit office.  I like the area I'm in, but if I have
to move I might as well look around and see what else is out there.

So, if you have any specific or general leads, I'd appreciate a note.
Also, I'm finding that the major (Dice, Monster, etc) job engines are
full of recruiters and other undesireable distractions, so leads on
good job boards would be greatly appreciated.

I'm fine with moving, but I'm going to weigh jobs in the following
areas more heavily than elsewhere (due to family):
Southeast Michigan
Southwest Ohio
Des Moine Iowa
Redmond Washington
Salt Lake City Utah

I'm good at telecommuting, but it would take a special kind of company
to convince me that they would be good at supporting a telecommuter.

My primary skills reside in the area of embedded hardware and firmware
design.  Like many here I have a very wide range of skills from
network engineering, web design, PHP, SQL, through TCP/IP on small
microcontrollers, to database and application design on large systems.
 Linux programming, multithreading, parallel processing, OS design,
graphics programming, etc are not new to me.
