So I'm curious as to if you have blank chips, how you will develop code for them. If you are putting their VDAP firmware in them, then that can certainly work for you. Let's see. I received my VMUSIC2 a week ago and wired up a 'F88 to it. After a bit of fooling around, I got the music to come out the speakers. But some commands didn't work at all while some others worked differently from their manual. Yesterday, I sent them an email to Scotland and they responded immediately. This morning, I had their answer and it included re-flash code to bring it up to date. From memory, mine went from V1.12 to V3.45? or so. No telling how long it was on the shelf at Mouser before I received it. I put it in the flash stick, powered up and now have most of the issues corrected. I'm still learning about some things and don't have a full evaluation for you. So far, I can create files, read files, write files, delete files, play mp3 files, read/write sectors, etc. No deal breakers certainly. I'm going to keep at it and will let you know if I see anything stranger than usual. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
