RAMTRON makes FAST SPI/I2C serial memories with _NO_ write waits. As soon as its written its DONE. This allows you to create scratchpad memory. Used with a PIC, that dramatically increases what can be stored. I've used RAMTRON in products for years. I have not personally ever seen a RAMTRON I2C memory fail. beats everything I know of. I use them to store, temporarily, self-programming updates for PIC processors from a client's website. --Bob -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
