It's not nearly so simple.  Like, we've hired people who didn't know
C to program C, because they understood the PROBLEM space rather

OTOH, that same philosophy is responsible for some truly AWFUL code
out in the world created by EEs or Artists or whatever that didn't
have ANY background in the formal process that ought to accompany
software development...
