So far, yes. The ideea it's not designing perpetuum mobile tools but "different" tools. For example the flame from the movie may have a plasma component generated by the microwave (as called microwave torch). With some circuit configuration you may have cold plasma or hot plasma as well (and quite easy). So you may see a flame but the flame is cold, it does not burn your fingers just clean the grease you have on your skin...
