Where do you get your parts for prototyping? samples in my experiance are slow and limited in number and ordering direct from manufacturers also seems to be slow and often has minimum order quantities.

Whereas when the likes of rapid or farnell do have something in stock they can ship it next day and provided you either have a buisness account or make a reasonable sized order they don't charge delivery either.
