I was on a project in an oil-company office once, and on a Friday afternoon I saw a piece of paper listing the price rises that all of their competitors 
were going to implement the coming weekend, and recommending their own course of action.

Is it a coincidence that the word "cartel" has the word "car" in it?  :-)
