I do note those sports you watch have a high 'expensive toy' quotient. 'Expensive toy' can be taken to means 'highly technical endeavours' if that helps :) Actually, I didn't have motorsports in mind when I made the "playing makes sense, watching doesn't" comment. That was more for the "'lets run around a lot' stuff. There are people who both play & watch sport (perhaps learning something?), but I think that's a small number.
