Almost all hydrogen (95%) produced commercially comes from oil. Good plan ya got there, BMW. The real plan, of course, is to pretend that we're green, we're innovating, get money from various goverments and so on. Business as usual. There was a hydrogen-powered bus fleet in Europe somewhere (Norway?) a while back. Extra greenie points were gained for cracking water with wind generators. Probably defunct by now, but at least they got some wind power out it.
