I'll bet I could build a machine that would absolutely rule at that game. If
worse comes to worse, mount a baseball pitching machine on a zamboni. Put
the little blank thing in the net on the opposite side of the field while
protecting your net... No problem.

But seriously, watch the robot soccer competitions (this last years, not the
years before) and you will see that we could build and program such a thing
for less than the training costs of the humans.
