Setting this up on a webserver is not a problem (we have one already, for intranet stuff). I would actually prefer a web-based solution. By the way, clicking a "Request Book" link resulted in a JavaScript error. And it looks like you're not using the Amazon plugin, do you know anybody who does (a few links I clicked on in OpenBiblio, led to websites that look almost identical to yours).
