Hi Russell: The interesting thing about the K2 is that when it's run at 350 ma, the specified current for the first generation High Brightness LumiLEDs, it's life is fantastic (>100,000 hours) and the efficiency is better at the lower current and so is has about twice the Lum/W of the first generation devices.
