Thanks Peter. In this case it is difficult to do so otherwise. The pic
is controlling the phase of the mains line ie. continually changing the
power delivered to a load. I can see how if it was just turning
something on or off it would be much easier. I will give this some
thought however as to whether I could use a lower voltage load.
