I should apologize for my prior message- I left a VERY critical part out- Planetary science has pretty well verified that the greenhouse effect and the effect of airborne particulates can have a direct and rapid change on a planet's surface conditions- we've observed this on Titan (way warmer than it should be at that distance from the Sun), Mars (which gets cooler during dust storms), and Venus (which has surface temperatures way higher than they should be based on its level of insolation). What has NOT been defined, and what I neglected to mention earlier, is whether or not humanity is a cause of these phenomena on Earth. Mike H.
