That's my reason, too -- but I am also used to opening new windows, rather than new tabs (I'm trying to break this old IE habit). One thing that I would like to be able to do, is to have the new window or tab inherit the history of the "parent" window or tab. Sometimes, I go deep into a site (or across the sites), and along the way I have a small branch that I open in a new window. Then if I decide that I need to go back to a place before the branch, it is easier to click "Back" a couple of times in the "child" window, than to click fifteen times in the "parent" window to get to the same page. Thank you for the "Open in New Tab/Window" tricks. I just upgraded to 2.0.0.3, were these options not available in 1.5?
