Anthony,

Regarding your MPLAB question, both versions 7.50 and 7.51 of the MPLAB IDE 
seem to support the 18F4620.

For help with MPLAB, select Help>Topics>MPLAB IDE. Look under the Contents 
tab for the tutorials. This should get you started.
