I've done everything from the most simple single-sided test boards through some fairly dense multilayer boards. IMHO, it's a workable program which is still undergoing active development. The Yahoo group has around 2500 members and is very active. I'd suggest joining it so that you can browse through the message archives. Doing that should give you a pretty good idea as to the state of the program. Yes, there are some bugs in the program but, from what I've seen and heard, crashes are rare. Restarting the program after a crash gives you the option of opening a recovery file to minimize the work lost. For the most part, workarounds are available for the bugs that have been reported. The program's developer contributes regularly to the Yahoo group and is very open to suggestions for ways to improve the package. I've actually seen a few bugs that got fixed in a matter of hours from their being reported. BTW, there's a public bug list at: http://www.ilijakovacevic.com/Mantis/view_all_bug_page.php Regards, Bob -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
