Yes, there's a warm place in my heart for manufacturers that maintain an archive of (at least) datasheets for their obsolete parts. When I first bought my TMP micros for (supposedly) 4-bit microcontroller experiments, I was able to download quite a bit of info from Toshiba, which lulled me into a false sense of security...
