To actually answer your question (since I already got pulled into OT discussion of Google's page ranking), Josh. I'm on various lists at YahooGroups for ham-related activities. They're all typically broken down by radio type or mode or something similar like that. Search for your radio's model number (like FT-857@YahooGroups.com, as an example) or by mode you're interested in working... the digital modes are better "represented" online (of course) than are things like SSB and CW, but there are groups for those too. Also if you're running specific software or hardware hooked to your rigs, look for those names at YahooGroups, etc. I don't find "general" ham radio lists to be too useful. They're either full of spam/noise, or they're just TOO general... and never have any "meat". We've been running the IRLP mailing list at YahooGroups for a long long time for node owner/operators and other punters listening in. I say "we" but I stopped administrating that list a very long time ago... I just post there regularly now. The vast majority of posts to that list right now are people trying to help other newbie people who have zero TCP/IP experience figure out NAT and router port-forwarding. -- Nate Duehr, WY0X -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
