The problem with a Pocket PC is that it's USB interface is a client and not a host. This means that you can't connect another USB client to it. This is true for most Pocket PC's, but not all, though. I have also seen that there are expansion devices/adaptors that is a USB host. I guess it is rather thin on the driver side. /Ruben > If you have USB (Even 1.1) there are many MIDI interfaces available. > The "Uno" is typical of the smaller ones, with a lump in the cable > holding the electronics. > http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno-main.html > > I prefer the Edirol brand, which offer different size interfaces, > and also allow you to select class compliant or proprietary drivers. > http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/dld.cfm?ln=en&dsp=0&iCncd=509 > > While I know very little about PocketPCs, I can handle most MIDI interface > questions you might want to ask. > > Lyle > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu > > [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu]On Behalf > > Of Per Linne > > Sent: Wednesday, May 02, 2007 9:52 AM > > To: PICLIST > > Subject: [EE]MIDI for Pocket PC > > > > > > Hi, > > > > Does anyone know of a MIDI-interface accessory for the Pocket PC? > > > > PerL > > > > -- > > http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > > View/change your membership options at > > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > > > > -- > http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > View/change your membership options at > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.467 / Virus Database: 269.6.2/784 - Release Date: 2007-05-01 14:57 > -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
