It's time to "fess" up... It's working!!! You can NOT have 3 terminators on the bus, one of the MCP2551 shuts down! (As it's supposed to do!) I forgot about a diagnostic terminator I still had jumpered in the system. I guess some extra current from the ICD helped it over the edge? Tom * | __O Thomas C. The one obvious change is the ground connection. Having the ICD connected, you probably change that.
