In your Country Is it Legal to Modify\Patch Your own legitimate copy of 
software for personal use... I mean legitimate is software you already 
bought.. An let say you bought the software does microsoft own that copy, 
confiscate it as they will)  like its on a lease basis or something... or is 
it legally yours i.e. if you get in trouble you still get to keep the CD's 
but not use it.....
Maybe if I apply a patch on tcpip.sys made by somebody else to Increase 
Number of connection Limit in XP.. let say this patch http://www.lvllord.de/ 
will I be violating anything or get in trouble or something... just want to 
know what you think and please dont point me to go consult professional 
help...
