Josh,

Try this site.  They have some SBC's.  An 8088 model, and a 386 model
too.
A little more than what you wanted to spend, but good looking
alternatives.

Anyone know of an inexpensive SBC that has USB and a serial port that
can run linux (any architecture, but x86 based would be nice) for
$50-75? Doesn't need to be a powerhorse 120mhz+  32megs ram would be
sufficient.

Been tempted to buy a semi-broken laptop off ebay, since I could use the
motherboard. Also been checking Circuit Cellar a bit.

Tips or places are appreciated.
Wanting to build a small car PC.
