I'm not sure about the dot, but the shooting star was the eBay 10,000+ feedback icon from the seller you named in your email. As you have their feedback score in the email, I am guessing you cut and pasted the name from the eBay page? If I cut-paste in this way, I get the name, the feedback count (one more than your cut-paste) and the shooting star, The list will automatically strip the email down to text only, also, if you are using outlook, did it offer to convert to text (lost tables formatting)? -Jim -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Doug Metzler Sent: 29 April 2007 22:37 To: 'Microcontroller discussion list - Public.' Subject: RE: [OT] SMT Microscopes They were .gif files, one was 112 bytes (a dot) and the other was 753 bytes (a little shooting star). I don't know off the top of my head whether a virus can be transmitted via .gif. If so I'm screwed, except that what kind of virus can you transmit in 753 bytes that also shows a valid image. I wasn't able to find what you were referring to on eBay, though. Do you have a link?
