FWIW, they seemed to have been eBay images from
<http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/icon/iconShootYllw_25x25.gif> and
<http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gif>.

Maybe Derward picked them up while copying and pasting the URL from an eBay
page?
