I've used a small 600:600 C.T. transformer (from good old radio rash, err shack) for some test equipment. I needed an isolated power supply to connect to a circuit powered off the line (the dangerous cap+zener combo, no isolation). I was only ever going to need 3, current requirements were a few mA. bread board characterization showed performance was adequate for this application.
