Certainly Dell stuff supplied in the UK seems to be satisfactory. AFAIK it 
is all assembled in Ireland.

I have a Dell desktop at home, one at work, and both my wide and I have Dell 
laptops. None of these have given us any problems.

There is an increasing number of Dell boxes being delivered here at work, 
including fair numbers of monitors, and I know the support guys here are 
pretty fastidious about not having items that fail, so the reliability of 
the current new stuff seems OK.
