I have a 9 channel phototransistor (or photodiode?) read head on 0.1" 
centers actually designed for a paper tape reader. I was going to build one 
for my North Star Horizon S100 Bus box.

Never got around to building it up.

I will send it off to first person willing to pay postage who really intends 
to use it to create a working reader. I would hope that person in turn would 
then offer to read tapes for others on the list.
