Thank you, looks very interesting. In fact, if I could use 12VAC for this box, I would have probably went with it. Unfortunately, one of the requirements for this design is that the 5V rail should be able to provide power to the circuit under test, as well as take its power from it (eliminating the need for another wall wart).
