It is a simulator.  And a very good one indeed.  The fact that there was
no using a resistor for pullup/pulldown bothered me at first.  Until I
tried the program out.  Now it doesn't bother me because the simulation
works.
I have used this simulator on my last three PIC projects.  When I went
to actually breadboard them, they ran just like in the simulator.  I
love my copy and wouldn't give it up without a fight.  I believe it is
hat good.
If you give it a try, I believe you too will like it very much.

Thanks Jim,

This one is a very nice educational tool for PIC, but it seems to me
that it is not a circuit simulator. For example there is no resistor,
but 'pullup'
so that it can somehow simulate the behaviour of a pullup.
