Smog is a temporary pollutant that, given a few weeks to months, completely goes away if you stop releasing it. So in my books it's pretty low on my list of things to worry about, compared to say, CO2-caused global warming. Of course it's the same reason why a lot of radioactive waste doesn't worry me either... The tritium powered glowlight I carry in my pocket has a half-life of 12 years. Nothing to worry about compared to the piles of lead, half-life infinity, in my pre-ROHS laptop... One is reversable, the other isn't. -- http://petertodd.ca -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
