Do you mean Linear Technology ? :) If you need a device being able to source or to sink a current with low noise output and high liniarity, then inevitable will be a linear one. A power amplifier configured for output current will do it best. A programable DC voltage could drive the amplifier: 0V to -100mA, +2.5V to 0mA and +5V to +100mA.
