I have a problem with the MPLAB help files. The *.chm files appear to have 
been correctly loaded onto the system during install, but will not open. I 
cannot understand why as my understanding is that these should open in 
Internet Explorer (or whatever other favourite browser one has).

They will not open from the MPLAB help menu or by attempting to open them 
directly. MPLAB version 7.50.
