Hi Dario I have a P4 with linux SO and me reader of 5 1/4 works perfectly the only thing that I had to give turned the conectores of the cable of the diskett in order that it take the of 3 1/2 as A (/dev/fd0) and the of 5 1/4 as B (/dev/fd1).
