For a 2-layer board, I see 3 drill files created when I generate the gerber (274X) files -- .dri, .drd, .drl. This is what I see in there... - The .drl file has 2 columns -- each row has a code-name for a drill size and the size for that drill. Example: T01 0.015 T02 0.024 etc. - The .drd file has 1 column -- it lists the code-name (from above), then each column below that lists all the X-Y coordinates for that drill size. Then there's the next code-name and all coordinates for that. Example... T01 X0750Y0100 X0874Y0205 etc. The .dri file is just a bunch of info about the directory path for the files, and some parameters such as rotate, mirror, autofit, tolerance, etc. But I don't see any column called plated. I assume this if the file you are referring to? I usually only send the drl and drd files. No board-house has required any other file from me (such as the .dri) so far. I'm looking thru the 274X specification, but don't see any keyword PLATED. Is this the file you are referring to? Or do you have an example file? Cheers, -Neil.
