I've had two 24H series chip fail to verify during debug with the ICD-2
but do fine when programmed (with the ICD-2) to run (instead of debug). I
filed a trouble ticket on it with Microchip. They're still checking on it.
As I recall, though, the minimum write endurance is something like 100
cycles, so I easily go over this in debug. It's interesting, though, that
the failure always (like both times) affected only debug, not runtime.
